In Memoriam

In Memory of Mrs. Ann Morrison (July 7, 1855 – March 28, 1945)

Now two long years have come and gone
Since you bid us farewell,
How you’ve been missed, O Mother dear
No human tongue can tell.
We miss your voice, we miss your form
In its accustomed chair,
Your aged step was weighted down
By years of toil and care.
A loss may but reveal to one
The meaning of His grace;
Still “we see darkly, through a glass”
While you see “face to face.”
