In memory of Jean Kathleen Morrison, beloved daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Morrison, who passed away August 6, 1958, at the age of eight years.
One little Rose that blossomed fair;
One little Sweetheart we adored
Left us to bloom in a garden rare
With Christ our Savior and angels there.
No more to live where sin abides
In a cruel land, but with Him Who said
“Let the little ones come unto Me.”
We pray we may live that some sweet day
We’ll meet our Rose in that Heavenly Home
We’ll forget the pain, forget the strife
That follows one in earthly life
What comfort to our saddened hearts
And eyes bedimmed by tears,
To feel a brighter day will come
Our Jeanie paved the way!
(Jean died Aug. 6 after being struck by a car on Highway 8.)
